Some interesting points, many things I don't agree with, and a very long interview which basically says "change yourself, be interesting, and then, women will find you attractive".

Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies talks about the evolution of the human race in the last 13,000 years, and tries to explain why some races evolved faster and further than others. Plenty of interesting issues are discussed. As I said, highly recommended.
	December 7th, 2010 December 13th, 2010	The Tipping Point - Misc, Sociology Lenght: 03 h 04 m \| Comment: Good. I think I had the files a bit mixed up, but still very interesting :). In this book he talks about diseases, and other things that behaves like them, as in behaves normally until something happens (might be a very small thing), that tip it out of balance and make it explode.

In this book (well, audio book in this case) he talks about success and gives as examples hockey players, software tycoons, Asians math skills and much more. He claims that success is a combination of skill, hard work, and opportunity, and explains the why and how. Highly recommended :)

	October 22nd, 2010 November 8th, 2010	מתי ואיך הומצא העם היהודי? - Popular Science Translated Title: When and how the Jewish People was invented? \| Genre: popular science, religion \| Author: Shlomo Sand - שלמה זנד \| Pages: 358 \| Language: Hebrew \| Comment: Intriguing. The author says that the Jewish people as a "people", is a mere invention that came to serve those who had something to gain from it. It has interesting views and it makes sense (in my humble opinion). Some of the things he debunks are the thought that the Diaspora ever happened, that Jews have a special "blood bond", and so on. I'll highly recommend it, but the only thing I have against it is that it's written in a very high language, that might be hard to stomach sometimes.

	November 25th, 2010	Ricky Gervais Live IV – Science - Stand-Up Had a terrible headache, but still laughed my ass off :). The most amusing was that towards the end, my friend just went "Shit !! i ate the Halomi!". This doesn't make much sense out of context, but the day before, he managed to eat a whole bunch of Halomi cheese, raw, without knowing what it is :) (he asked me what it is, and my reply was : "some kind of cheese?"). If you like Ricky, by all means, watch this :)

Highly amusing A grade movie made into looking like a B grade movie(and made after the fake trailer for the movie was a hit among viewers :). Plenty of known faces as well. Bit late, but given the fact I'm still travelling, it's nice I've been able to put up a system to play this one :). Played with the STALKER Complete 2009 Mod. Managed to get the good ending, and then see the bad one, and the greedy one as well. Watch video
	November 2nd, 2010 November 11th, 2010	Doom 3 - First Person Shooter Genre: First Person Shooter \| Developer: Id Software \| Comment: Hmmm ... lets see ... of the bat, fun. But, lets go into more detail: Playing on an amd 3200+ with radeon 4850, frame rates where mainly ok. With Catalyst AI on, every time I got hit, I would suffer horrible fps loss (game would stop for half a second or so). It's more of a horror game than a real shooter, since there's more creeping and crawling than shooting. Last boss in disappointingly easy. If you played or read any comments about the game, it suffers from the "no ductape on mars" (as in, no flashlight on weapons, and trust me or anyone who played the game, you need it :) The tendency to hide weapons and armor in random places is a bit annoying (as in, behind barrels, under stairs, and so on. It gets to the point that you look at a screen, and know that something will be hiding behind a wall ... ). Good benchmarking tool though :). Watch video

Compared to Rome, more blood, more known faces, more sex and nudity. But nevertheless, it has a feeling of a small production. The blood is overdone with special affects, and it can get predictable at times. Even so, I enjoyed it.
