How the universe originated (amusing, after listening to the fabric of the cosmos, many things were already familiar) how life started, humans, history and much more. It is very well written, and read, and made me laugh and smile several times :) Been listening to this for almost a month. Mainly on trains on my way to work, but also in other places, and even while running. The book finished EXACTLY when I finished my run today :).

Probably not the cup of tea of many (even though it became the most popular science book among Amazon.com customers in 2005 it seems :). Highly recommended. Talks about physics and their evolution from Newton, through Einstein and relativity, and up to strings, super strings and black holes. Took me a month and a half to finish ... which makes 30 minutes a day ... not too bad I guess (even though it probably didn't distribute itself like that :).

	July 25th, 2011 August 6th, 2011	World in Conflict: Soviet Assault - Real Time Strategy Genre: Real Time Strategy \| Developer: Massive Entertainment / Swordfish Studios \| Comment: Awesome. Was a long time since I enjoyed a RTS game so much. Great grafics, fun action, totally immersive, different types of missions and units. A bit of reading after I finished it revealed that these are the same guys who did "Ground control", which I loved so many years ago, and was a measuring stick against other RTS's. First, Iranian indie game (started like that at least). Nice effort, based on free software. GFX are ok, cinematics are better than nothing, and the action scenes are cool. It reminds me a bit of Batman and Wolverine games. On the other side, can be repetitive, annoying, you can get stuck on stupid things for a long time. Sad thing is it's much worst than Batman and Wolverine, and the best thing I can say about it is that at least it's short :) Watch video

Amazing how technology developed, giving that I probably played the first shooters that came out :). Had to wait til I got my DX11 card to play it. Played with the complete mod. Great graphics, nice story, if you played the previous 2, you'll find references to them in the game, and the only thing I wasn't too impressed with was the rather poor English dub with Russian accent :). Played with brother for good old days sake. You have the same core of 8 characters, and some 9 new ones. Over a month or so we managed to beat the game with all of them (on easy though :). One thing to be said in it's favor, is the funniest video we took of my brother, his wife, and me playing. (Good luck with the trailer ... Seems like it shows all the chars. I had enough playing them :)
